Posting Summary

Oversee and manage Athletic Equipment Operations Unit of the Department of Athletics. Supervise staff and perform personnel management. Responsible for the purchasing, care, upkeep, and maintenance of all the University’s athletic team equipment and apparel. Serve as the primary liaison with official equipment providers (Nike, CCM , BSN ).

Minimum Qualifications (or equivalent combination of education and experience)

Associate’s degree and at least three years’ experience working in athletic facility operations or comparable work environment required. Effective management skills and the demonstrated ability to motivate staff. Effective communication, interpersonal, and supervisory skills required. Effective organizational skills and able to manage multiple tasks and high-pressure events. Ability to work nights and weekends. A demonstrated commitment to issues of social justice and diversity.

Desirable Qualifications

Anticipated Pay Range $50,000 to $60,000/year

Other Information

Special Conditions Occasional evening and/or weekends required (if non-exempt position, may result in overtime), A probationary period may be required for current UVM employees, After this week, position posted until filled
