PHARMACY TECHNICIAN Piedmont Health Services, Inc. Scott Community Health Center *Bilingual (English/Spanish Speaking) PREFERRED Full-Time, Benefit-Eligible*

JOB SUMMARY Understands most pharmacy computer functions, understands the drug ordering process, able to print most computer reports, able to communicate with medical providers, understands most pharmacy operations, able to assist Pharmacy Manager with operations.

JOB REQUIREMENTS Education:Minimum high school graduate or equivalency Experience:One to three years of experience in pharmacyand customer service/healthcare preferred. Language:English/Spanish Bilingual skills preferred Licensure/Certification:Passed National Certification Exam - preferred, registered with N.C. Board of Pharmacy Travel:Must be able to travel to all locations Computer Skills: Microsoft Office, email/internet and ability to learn other healthcare related software.

Job Duties and Responsibilities Able to begin daily pharmacy operations with apharmacist, perform most pharmacy computer functions, order medications from wholesaler independently,complete most pharmacy daily and monthly reports, complete weekly Pfizer reports and perform routine inventory functions. Understands and practices good patient relationships, work well with center staff, provides leadership for other technicians, handle most telephone queries, understands IVR operation and understands Medicare Part D.
