JOB SUMMARY Functions as Pharmacist licensed by N.C. Board of Pharmacy, Directs all activities of pharmacy department, insures that all regulations of the N.C. Board of Pharmacy are fulfilled, supervises all pharmacy technicians, directs all patient-pharmacy interactions, participates in all health center meetings as pharmacy representative, supervises all pharmacy students, directs pharmacy purchasing through 340B purchasing program, serves as member of Pharmacy and Therapeutics Committee.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Education:Minimum of B.S. Pharmacy

Experience:Appropriate for licensure in North Carolina

Licensure/Certification:Licensed in North Carolina by N.C. Board of Pharmacy

Travel:Must be able to travel to all locations

*Computer Skills:*Microsoft Office, email/internet and ability to learn other healthcare related software

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILTIES Pharmacy Manager with N.C. Board of Pharmacy permit responsibility and all duties assigned by permit, supervises all technicians and pharmacists assigned to particular location, supervises medication dispensing when appropriate, provides patient and medical provider consultation, supervises medication ordering process, supervises Patient Assistance medication program, supervises Pfizer Share the Care program, works with Health and Wellness Grant program, serves on PandT Committee.

JOB PHYSICAL DEMANDS/WORKING CONDITIONS Must be able to maneuver physically, lift moderate amounts, reach upward with normal range of motion, and drive to each location.
