Insight Global Remote Software Quality Engineer in Burlington, Massachusetts

Job Description

A global healthcare software client is looking for a Software Quality Engineer to join their team. This person will be embedded alongside developers, using their latest in-house automation framework in Java to create reliable and comprehensive automation tests. Teams rely on flexible but standardized processes to ensure test coverage, feature quality, and regression checks.This role will be 100% remote and must be able to work 9 AM - 5 PM EST.

What you will do:

  • Monitor all stages of software development to identify and resolve system errors to meet quality standards specified for regression, integration, manual,

performance, and functional testing.

  • Develop, execute and maintain manual test cases, and test plans that will validate Medicare/Medicaid claim editing and pricing according to the application specifications

  • Participate in daily sprint planning

  • Execute front-end and back-end tests, including Web and API testing using Postman

  • Work in an agile, fast-paced, two-week sprint release cycle

  • Develop, enhance, and document UI and API

Skills and Requirements

  • 5/6 years of experience as a tester or software quality engineer

  • Manual testing (80%) and automation testing (20%) experience

  • Hands on experience with Java

  • UI/API testing experience

  • Healthcare industry experience

  • Strong Functional testing - Gherkin experience (BDD) null
