The purpose of this position is to supervise and coordinate staff and activities related to facilities maintenance, renovations, and special events. This is a hands-on position. Will be required to work directly with crews and various teams.

  • Actively participates in ongoing quality improvement activities of Legacy Treatment Services including but not limited to: serving as a member of a quality improvement team, Consumer input, incident/accident and consumer grievance review, peer record review and Program evaluation/quality improvement projects.

  • Prepares schedules, assigns work and oversees the assigned tasks.

  • Assists with the coordination of renovations and rehabilitation of Agency facilities.

  • Responsible for oversight of fire drills and inspections.

  • Maintains and issues supplies and maintains inventory controls.

  • Sets a good example and maintains a safe working environment.

  • May make recommendations on the effective use, repair, control or purchase or care of Agency facilities and vehicles.

  • Schedules preventative maintenance of Agency facilities and equipment and maintains records.

  • Assists in the oversight of snow and grass cutting contracting.

  • Assists in the coordination of snow and ice removal.

  • “Designated Person” as required under AHERA regulations.

  • Responsible for all OSHA regulations to include PPE, Lockout-tagout and general safety.

  • Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision.

  • Assists with coordination of special events.

  • Provides emergency on-call coverage as needed.

  • Schedules and may be present for inspections.

  • May be required to lift 50 pounds or more.

  • May be required to drive Agency vehicles.

  • This is a hands-on position. Will be required to work directly with crews and various teams.

  • Performs others duties as assigned by the Chief Business Office and/or the Senior Director of Facilities and Operations.

    Hours:

    This is aFull Time position which includes the following benefits:

    Education/Experience:

    High School diploma and five years of supervisory experience in the fields of facilities maintenance, construction and renovation. Certifications are desirable and preferred. Must possess extensive knowledge of local, State and Federal codes to include OSHA and NFPA. Must obtain and maintain asbestos inspector training within three months of hire under AHERA regulations.
