Required Skills:

Software Engineer, Audio Embedded DSP - Reality Labs Responsibilities:

  1. Analyze, design, develop and debug audio features on Android systems.

  2. Collaborate in a team environment across multiple scientific and engineering disciplines, making the architectural tradeoffs required to rapidly deliver software solutions.

  3. Develop software for a variety of consumer devices.

  4. Write clean readable code, debug complex problems, prioritize ruthlessly and get things done with a high level of efficiency.

  5. Learn constantly, dive into new areas with unfamiliar technologies, and embrace the ambiguity of problem solving.

Minimum Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, relevant technical field, or equivalent practical experience.

  2. 5+ years of experience with development of software systems including audio DSP or machine learning signal processing development experience

  3. 5+ years experience with C or C++

  4. Experience in Android or Linux audio stack development

  5. Experience developing, debugging, and shipping software products on large code bases that span platforms and tools.

  6. Communication experience and demonstrated experience working across disciplines to drive optimal solutions

Preferred Qualifications:

  1. MS or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent

  2. Experience with DSP in the audio, video or camera space

  3. Demonstrated experience working collaboratively in cross-functional teams.

  4. Experience developing, debugging, and shipping software products on large code bases that span platforms and tools.

  5. Experience in one or more of the following areas: experience with camera-related software features across all layers of the camera stack, or experience with video-related software features across all layers of the video stack.

Public Compensation:

$146,994/year to $208,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits
