Meta Product Manager, Reality Labs XR Tech (Extended Reality Technologies) in Burlingame, California

Summary:

We are a team of world-class experts developing and shipping products at the intersection of hardware, software and content.As a Product Manager on the XR Tech Platforms team within Reality Labs at Meta, you will be pivotal in shaping the future of immersive, Mixed Reality and Augmented Reality experiences by managing our suite of APIs and SDKs that empower developers to innovate. In this role, you will work closely with both 1P partners and 3P developers, understanding their needs to create more retentive and rapidly growing Presence Applications.

Required Skills:

Product Manager, Reality Labs XR Tech (Extended Reality Technologies) Responsibilities:

  1. Help in further developing Meta's suite of APIs and SDKs for XR Tech Platforms

  2. Collaborate closely with 1P partners and 3P developers to understand their needs and translate them into product features

  3. Drive the product vision and roadmap for Presence Applications

  4. Work cross-functionally with various teams to manage and deliver successful products

  5. Continuously monitor industry trends and competitive landscape to inform product strategies

  6. Is the primary driver for identifying significant opportunities, and driving product vision, strategies and roadmaps in the context of broader organizational strategies and goals

  7. Understand Meta’s strategic and competitive position and deliver products that are aligned with our mission and recognized best in the industry

  8. Maximize efficiency in a constantly evolving environment where the process is fluid and creative solutions are the norm

  9. Incorporate data, research, and market analysis to inform product strategies and roadmaps

  10. Plan, initiate, and manage information technology projects for web-based products and platforms

  11. Lead the ideation, technical development, and launch of innovative tools, platforms, and/or products

  12. Drive product development with teams of world-class engineers and designers, while maintaining team health

  13. Work closely with cross-functional teams to drive product vision, define product requirements, coordinate resources from other groups (design, legal, etc.), and guide the team through key milestones

  14. Integrate usability studies, research, and market analysis into product requirements to improve engineer productivity and enhance user satisfaction

  15. Define and analyze metrics that inform the success of products. Identify and track key performance metrics

Minimum Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications:

  1. 8+ years product management or related industry experience

  2. Experience working effectively with 3P developers supporting consumer/B2C experiences

  3. Bachelor's degree (or foreign degree equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, Analytics, Mathematics, Physics, Applied Sciences, or a related field and 2+ years of experience in the following:

  4. Product management or product design experience

  5. Experience working in a technical environment with a broad, cross functional team to drive product vision, define product requirements, coordinate resources from other groups (design, legal, etc.), and guide the team through key milestones

  6. Experience delivering technical presentations

  7. Experience analyzing complex, large-scale data sets and making decisions based on data

  8. Experience gathering requirements across diverse areas and users, and converting and developing them into a product solution

  9. Technical experience with analytical tools, methodologies, and design

  10. Displaying leadership, organizational and execution skills

  11. Proven communication skills

$171,000/year to $238,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits
