Job Information

CARDINAL METALWORKS INC Production Manager in BURGAW, North Carolina

Perform all engineering and technical assignments related to the product line. Provide product support to Production, Process Engineering, Quality and Accounting.

Develop and maintain all engineered manufacturing drawings and related supporting documentation for the entire product line, including BOMs.

Continuous improvement of product development

Generating quotes and purchase requisitions for material and special order components

Will lead all new product launches

Interaction with Customer via email, phone, and site visits

Staying current with all federal code requirements

Provide input to production scheduling to maintain project schedules

Identify potential and existing problems and provide a solution

Closely work with shop personnel to ensure accuracy and quality of product

Closely work with cross functional teams such as Process Engineering, Quality, Production, and Accounting for execution of plans, process improvements and cost savings.

Qualifications and Requirements

Knowledge of AutoCAD and Solidworks

CAD/CNC programming experience preferred, specifically SIGMANEST

Experience in metal fabrication preferred

Experience with PPAPs a plus

Must be a strong leader and detail oriented

Capable of working in a team environment
