Aston Carter Medical Records Clerk in Burbank, California
Medical Records Clerk is responsible for assisting with inbound calls to the specialty office, the employee will be responsible for scheduling, cancellations, checking in patients, and assisting other departments as needed.
Open or closes the office along with office leadership daily, check the voicemail messages every day and call back patients to respond to questions, take telephone messages and route them to the appropriate team, Check in patients, obtain medical records, take insurance cards, verify the insurance, collect Photo ID’s, and take payments, scan in any outside documents. Check-out give patients orders, give patients After Visit Summery, Phone Operator transfer calls to the appropriate department, make appointments, and enter referrals.
