Prepares and packs small package and freight and follows company policy and carrier standards. Daily goals of shipping all items ready for the day and receiving all items in daily must be regularly met. Works off a Dashboard tool that shows all that is ready to ship and helps prioritize which shipments must leave first.

Shipping and Receiving Responsibilities:

  • Manages the shipment and receipt of all products, materials, and supplies.

  • Collaborates and communicates with logistics, customer service representatives, service providers, and others involved in the shipment and receipt of units.

  • Tracks, traces, and updates the status of incoming and outgoing shipments. Makes sure that all deliveries have tracking numbers.

  • Maintains a clean, neat, and customer-ready area.

  • Promptly unloads trucks and deliveries and sorts receivables.

  • Ensures that receivables are logged in to the system in a timely manner, incoming boxes are opened properly and all items logged are correctly located into the customer warehouse.

  • Makes sure that all items to be sent back unrepairable are packed and shipping in the early part of shift.

  • Engages with employees and vendors with a positive attitude.

  • Provides additional backup support for shipping and receiving departments to ensure that the daily goals are met.

  • Forklift Certified

  • Able to lift 50lbs

Hours 8:30-5:30 Pay 16-20$ an hour based on experience
