Delaware North Vice President of Marketing in Buffalo, New York

The Opportunity

Delaware North is hiring a Vice President of Marketing, Sportservice and Patina Restaurant Group to be based at our global headquarters in Buffalo, New York. As the Vice President of Marketing you will be responsible for developing B2B marketing strategies for both the Sportservice and Patina businesses, a B2C strategy for "street-level" restaurants, and a B2B2C strategy for our Sportservice clients. This is a unique opportunity to lead the marketing efforts for two different subsidiaries: the fast-paced world of Sportservice and the award-winning restaurant and catering Patina Restaurant Group.

Pay

Minimum – Anticipated Maximum Base Salary: $168700 - $239100 / year

In addition to base salary, we offer an annual bonus plan based on company and individual performance, or a role-based, uncapped sales incentive plan. Responsibilities

  • Build annual marketing plans, manage marketing budgets, and report back on efforts and ROI for both businesses

  • Work with Business Development leads and Marketing teams to develop strategy for account-based marketing efforts

  • Responsible for demand generation strategies for "street level" restaurants, building multi-channel marketing strategies to grow brand awareness

  • Create playbooks to drive incremental revenue for our Sportservice business, making presentations and engaging with clients on co-marketing efforts

  • Lead efforts to innovate the guest experience in both businesses and drive revenue, work with enterprise groups to develop new products and service offerings

  • Develop and manage the brand positioning and visual identity for both businesses in partnership with the Vice President of Brand, build key messaging platforms for all channels

  • Partner with Insights team to deliver the voice of the customer data back to business leaders and field operators

  • Manage and develop a diverse team of marketers, building and fostering a high-performing team that delivers successful marketing and business development efforts

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree required

  • Minimum 8 years' experience in a marketing management role required, prefer relevant industry experience

  • Significant experience in B2B and B2C marketing with a proven track record of success, experience in sports or hospitality is strongly preferred

  • Experience leading in a large public or private company with revenues over $1b is preferred

  • Demonstrated ability to work in a matrixed environment

  • Ability to travel up to 25%

  • Experience working for a sports team or in one of the major leagues is a plus
