Summary:
Analyzes and monitors preparation of patient accounts and resolves more complex billing issues; trains billing unit personnel; monitors daily reports for system errors; evaluates problems and appropriately reports or resolves such issues.

Salary range for this position is $44,201 - $53,413 annually which includes a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications:
Required Education and Experience

High School diploma or High School Equivalency diploma and the equivalent of two (2) years of full-time experience in medical billing and follow-up procedures or a related field.

NOTE:
Required degrees must have been granted by an accredited college or university or one recognized by Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center as following acceptable educational practices.

Preferred Qualifications:

The preferred candidate will have a high school diploma with experience in a healthcare setting specifically 3-5 years in Hospital Medical Billing, is familiarly with Medical claims processing & Follow up to accounts. They will also be proficient in Microsoft Systems and will be familiar with Medical Terminology.
