Who are we looking for?

We're looking for a Senior Air Quality Consultant to join our Environmental team on the east coast. In this role, you will provide air quality consulting services for a broad range of industrial clients throughout the Northeast and Southeast regions of the US. Working with an energetic and high performing team, this position offers a variety of work and will see you involved in:

  • Managing and serving as technical expert on air quality projects spanning a variety of technical areas within air quality such as: air permitting, air compliance and reporting, auditing, dispersion modeling, etc.
  • Directly interfacing with clients, including identifying new project opportunities and preparing proposals
  • Overseeing project teams to complete air permitting projects
  • Preparing air permit application documentation, including: complex emission calculations, regulatory applicability evaluations, and dispersion modeling analyses
  • Leading air quality compliance assessments
  • Providing senior review of permit applications, emission calculations, dispersion modeling, and compliance evaluations
  • Overseeing project financials and staff execution of project tasks
What you will bring to the team:
  • Bachelor's and/or Master's degree in Environmental Engineering, Environmental Science, Chemical Engineering or related field of study
  • 10-15+ years of air quality permitting, compliance and/or air modeling experience;
  • Consulting experience preferred
  • Direct experience preparing technical documentation for air permit applications for Title V, NSR, NNSR, PSD, GHG, Standard Permits, and Permits by Rule
  • Technical understanding of PSD/NSR, air permitting requirements, and dispersion modeling

Salary range: $101,600-$152,400 based on experience
