Job Summary

Responsible for providing technical direction and support to customers on operation and maintenance of company products. Serve as customer contact on technical and service-related problems. Demonstrate uses and advantages of products. Work closely with sales and marketing, QA/QC and research and development to address customer concerns, determine corrective action and customer follow-up. May be responsible for a designated region.

Responsibilities

1. Install, check out, operate, maintain, repair, and upgrade equipment within time requirements established by service management.
2. Provide preventative maintenance in accordance with published procedures. Keep performance and maintenance records on the equipment.
3. Provide guidance and training to customer personnel in establishing operation, maintenance, inspection procedures, and techniques.
4. Analyze equipment failures to determine cause and recommend corrective action.
5. Advise and assist in effecting design changes to improve equipment efficiency and/or reduce cost of operations.
6. May participate in installation planning phase.
7. Maintain customer good will through: effective communication of all services rendered; effective communication of on-site arrival time; effective and early communication of late on-site arrival time; effective communication of service and operator issues; effective presentation of positive attitude for the company, products, employees, and customers; and maintaining a proper business appearance as defined by service management.
8. Effectively manage company assets to include company vehicle, computer, trunk stock parts inventory, test equipment and tools.
9. All employees are responsible for ensuring the compliance to company documents, programs and activities related to the Health, Safety, Environment, Energy, and Quality Management Systems, as per your roles and responsibilities.

MANAGEMENT SCOPE: Does NOT manage other employees. Does NOT have hiring, firing and performance decision power.

REQUIREMENTS:

* Minimum of 1 year working in a similar field-based repair position
* Computer skills are essential. Must be familiar with Microsoft Windows operating system and Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access
* Valid driver's license.
* Able to obtain credit approval for Corporate Credit card.
* Good verbal and written communication skills
* Independent Thinking
* Detail Oriented
* Strong Problem-solving skills.
* Able to lift 50 pounds - Must be able to bend, push and so forth.
* Manual Dexterity Willingness to work up to and over 8 hours/day.
* Work > 40 hours/week, weekends, holidays, and after-hours.
* Occasional overnight travel.
* Must maintain all requirements for access to customer sites, including active and current compliance with all credentialing requirements (may include COVID-19 and annual influenza vaccinations), in order to perform the essential functions of the role at customer locations.
* Participates in any and all reasonable work activities as assigned by management.
