WORK OBJECTIVE: Student intern(s) will join our strategic communications team and assist with a variety of projects in support of the NFTA’s public relations strategy. Associated tasks will include planning and executing special events, promotions, and community outreach; creating communication and media plans and releases; market research; and other content development and communications projects. Knowledge of MS Office required. Familiarity with photo revision software is helpful.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Candidates must be at least 18 years of age and actively pursuing a degree in communications, public relations, marketing, or related field. A high level of organization, attention to detail and self-motivation is necessary. This internship may require some set-up/lifting or off-site work.

NOTE: This is for the Summer of 2024. • The internship runs from the middle of May through middle of August. • Compensation: academic credit hours.
