Job Description

This role will provide operational pricing support to the Strategic Pricing and Analytics team. This role relies heavily on strong analytical skills, as the role provides analysis and technical support for pricing initiatives that include setting list and net selling prices for our products, anticipate price action implication, and assess price and contracting options to optimize reimbursement and access.

Responsibilities:

· Lead internal pricing database (Priceright). Conduct International Reference Price (IRP) formulation and launch sequencings analysis for all portfolios and implement system enhancement to drive real time analysis within Priceright.

· Monitor and analyze competitor pricing and reimbursement landscape to benchmark AbbVie products in the same therapeutic area, anticipate market pricing trends to validate pricing strategies

· Maintain and update regularly price competitor data tools and reports across therapeutic areas of interest to the AbbVie portfolio. Support development of process for pricing and market access research projects

· Develop and monitor contracting performance metrics and respond rapidly to under/over performance.

· Develop, manage and implement commercial contracting for channel. Consistently review contracting strategies performance in the market and recommend appropriate actions as required.

· Lead negotiations for ANA (Alternative Negotiations Agreements) in each key account according to plan definitions.

· Ensure all contracting strategies are aligned with Financial, Commercial and MA Director. As needed liaise with Compliance and Legal to obtain reviews and approvals to ensure appropriate governance and documentation management.

· Lead discussions and partner with Commercial Director, Market Access and Financial Director and Region & Global contacts to gain alignment on contracting strategies that are informed by market intelligence, financial modelling, ROI analysis.

· Collaborate with Account leads in Wholesalers and Obras Sociales to ensure alignment of objectives. Also, support MAVPs and KAMs role in Account Management Process.

· Lead the tenders process for key accounts (MoH, PAMI). Continuous analysis of market trends In order to anticipate tenders in this stakeholders.

· Market intelligence reports of key competitor tender’s prices and discount.

· Build a robust Market Access & Commercial Strategy and customized Payer Value for Specialty Brands taking into consideration the different sub-systems of the Argentina´s health system.

· Identify opportunities and collaborate cross-functionally to engage in “win : win” partnerships with traditional and non-traditional stakeholders in order to positively influence product maximize

· Prepare price annual scenarios and the different planning sessions of the year, integrating and analyzing the information provided by the different Directions of the business.

· Actively participate in Brand Plan processes, understanding the strategies of brands and including the impact of price & contract trends in the Strategic Financial Plan.

· Demonstrate appropriate level of leadership experience to lead and influence, perform with high levels of competence, confidence and credibility. Work independently with limited direct supervision and manage workload to meet critical deadlines under challenging time constraints.

Qualifications

· Bachelor’s Degree Preferred Candidate Account, Economy and similar- management consulting; 5-6 years within industry of pharma and medical devices.

· Ability to understand data, identify risks, develop recommendations, and implement solutions

· Ability to understand the organization's strategy and apply to product pricing strategies.

· Strong curiosity towards the evolving market and pricing trends

· Knowledge of pharmaceutical pricing and market access

· Knowledge of financial planning process

· Understanding of financial planning process

· Familiarity with databases

· Strong Excel, Power Point, Word skills

· Ingles advance and certificate.
