Chevron Corporation CHEVRON BASSC – Agile Internship 2024 in Buenos Aires, Argentina

The Chevron Service Center (Buenos Aires Shared Service Center - BASSC), located in Buenos Aires (Puerto Madero), Argentina, with more than 1,300 employees, provides solutions in the areas of Finance, IT, Downstream, Human Resources, Procurement and Audit to the global organization and is launching its Internship Program.

The selected candidates will join the BASSC IT team.

Your initial responsibilities will include:

  • Facilitate and champion the agile methodology by coaching development teams and promoting the use of standards and best practices.

  • Coach the team to improve collaboration and self-management, promoting healthy interactions both within the team and with external stakeholders.

  • Facilitate the identification and removal of impediments to the team’s progress and focus on eliminating waste and delays.

  • As a servant leader, promote adoption of an agile mindset through teaching, and coaching.

  • Ensure the team is utilizing Scrum/SAFe ceremonies effectively to maximize value delivery and facilitates Scrum ceremonies.

  • Interns will have the opportunity to collaborate with senior Scrum Masters to start developing agile and servant leadership skills, contributing to build high performing teams. Additionally, they will have the perspective of working in a company with presence in different countries and regions, with different cultures and priorities.

Requirements

  • Medium and Advanced students of computer engineering and business-related careers.

  • Fluent in written and oral English.

Hours per week: 20 hours.

Internship duration: 12 months, with the possibility of extending for 6 more months.

Location: Puerto Madero, CABA
