Job Description Summary

As a VAT Intern you can join a multinational company with supporting the European VAT compliance activities. It is a great opportunity to get a deeper understanding of business processes, different ERPs and European VAT legislation.

Job Description

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Prepare VAT and Intrastat returns

  • Prepare and analyze VAT account reconciliations

  • Deliver reportingand administration activities in complex ERP systems

  • Support experienced tax team members in their tax accounting and tax compliance tasks

  • Support team VAT team members with different administrative tasks

Qualifications/Requirements:

  • Ongoing studies in Finance, Accounting; or similar studies

  • Economics or similar BA/MA or equivalent knowledge or experience

  • Availability for min. 24 hours per week

  • Excel knowledge

  • Good command of English

Desired characteristics:

  • Knowledge of basic accounting

Additional information:

  • Successful applicant will be legally eligible to enter into an employment relationship under the laws of Hungary

  • This is a hybrid role with three days remote and two days in the office.
