What impact you’ll make:

As a member of the Gas Power Global Supply Chain, the Operational Finance Closing and Reporting Team Leader is the key finance partner across gas, steam, generator, heat recovery steam generator (HRSG), repairs value streams and functions. This role is responsible for leading the center of excellence to drive improvements to core supply chain finance processes enabling efficiencies to downstream operating partners. This role will partner heavily with the site finance leaders, data & analytics COE and operations.

Job Description

What you’ll do

  • Subject matter expert (SME) in key supply chain and financial processes including indirect costs, labor utilization & productivity, financial closing & reporting

  • Deliver continuous improvement initiatives to deliver data analytics and reporting integrity.

  • Manage, inspire and coach large direct and indirect team fostering career growth in a collaborative team environment to develop strong pipeline of finance talent

  • Oversight over managed service provider to ensure delivery of service level agreement (SLA) metrics

  • Able to partner with key stakeholders to develop harmonized standard global operating procedures in complex matrixed, operating environment

  • Manages alignment of the Operational Finance team activities and output to global calendar and to GSC operating rhythms (closing, Qtrly Early Read, Budget, Monthly Operating Review etc)

  • Able to effectively communicate current state and future state process & controls, and develop roadmap to align system/process differences across global supply chain to drive harmonized global standard work

  • Coordinate with Data & Analytics COE to deliver high impact financial analytics and controls that drives operational accountability, predictability and transparency

What you’ll bring (Basic Qualifications)

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business or Finance

  • Demonstrated domain expertise in supply chain finance

  • Leadership experience managing, coaching and influencing direct and indirect team

  • Knowledge of accounting policies and practices (e.g. USGAAP)

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Prior knowledge of manufacturing system ERPs (i.e. SAP) and with digital and automation tools such as Tableau, RPA

  • Strong written and verbal communication in both English and Hungarian
