ABOUT THE ROLE

As the Demand Planning and Supply Manager, Middle East and North Africa, you will support MENA supply function within a critical role to drive operational excellence in line with the MENA strategy.

Main responsibilities:

Supply :

  • Support Head of Supply Chain MENA on delivery of Supply Operational Agenda.

  • Monitor, report and analyze supply chain and demand planning important metrics to identify areas of improvements, deliver root cause analysis and drive improvement agenda.

  • Manage and maintain “Best in class” service level for customers. Build and sustain customer collaboration processes, support with issue resolution and drive overall supply efficiencies to generate value both for Diageo and Distributors.

  • Deliver Cash target by managing the Diageo inventory level and maintaining the minimum possible level of SLOBs. Lead the monthly stock review, with the objective of minimising the write-off of obsolete finished products

  • Implement projects and critical initiatives aimed to develop and enhance supply chain capabilities and infrastructure

  • Provide ongoing supply and demand planning support for Local bottling across MENA region including bulk planning and supply

  • Drive operational cost reduction agenda Explore new routes to markets to optimize the supply chain operations and reduce lead times

  • Manage the third party logistics provider (3PL) to ensure timely and cost effective transportation and warehousing services

  • Implement projects and initiatives aimed to develop and enhance sustainability agenda to promote adherence to environmental standards and reduce carbon footprint

  • Promote internal collaboration culture between Supply and Commercial functions

Demand Planing

  • Lead the APO Demand Planning module implementation and start up of the statistical demand forecasting in EE

  • Lead a regular process of forecast review with the multifunctional team based on the developed FA&BIAS monthly report.

  • Lead Demand Planning process and shape current S&OP cycle

  • Lead the generation, alignment, consensus and sign-off of monthly rolling forecasts for MENA business units.

  • Ensure full alignment between different plans (Supply, Commercial, Financial) with adequate rationale for the differences.

  • Ensure strong relationships exist between Commercial, Partners and Global supply, establishing a bonding in the ways of working among the teams.

  • Communicate critical forecast changes and supply constraints to stakeholders in the Supply Chain, Sales and Finance teams.

  • developed FA&BIAS monthly report.

  • Lead Demand Planning process and shape current S&OP cycle

  • Own the  supply network data configuration for the assigned markets and make sure that is appropriately reflected in the planning system (SAP APO)

  • Maintain APO master data including CVC creation, disaggregation factors and attributes

  • Manage and maintain the market portfolio, including innovation and new to market SKUs.

  • Lead the generation, alignment, consensus and sign-off of monthly and annualy rolling forecasts for bulk liquids including flavours for local bottling in MENA

ABOUT YOU

  • Degree in supply chain, business management, or related fields.

  • 5+ plus years of experience in Planing and Supply chain including 3+ years of experience in managing S&OP process (multi country experience would be an advantage)

  • S&OP / IBP process knowledge & practical experience

  • Good business insight, understanding of P&L and Cash statements desired

  • Data analytics & calculations excellent capabilities

  • Ability to run diverse teams and lead and influence partners across an organization.

  • Sound knowledge and experience in processes development and digitalization

  • Track record of performance delivery.

  • Excellent written, oral, presentation and communication skills.

  • Highly organised and self-motivated, with an ability to anticipate, effectively prioritise and progress workload.

  • Ability to work independently and collaborate with internal and external customers effectively across various levels of the organization

  • Proven track of records to build strong customer relationships and handle customer expectations.

  • MS Office & Excel expert

  • SAP APO working knowledge is a must. Experience in SAP, Anaplan, Power BI would be an advantage

  • Fluent English language, French as second language would be an advantage
