The Senior Tax Manager, Tax Controller at Cytiva is responsible for:

  • Direct Tax/Transfer Pricing reporting and control framework – Cytiva tax compliance framework and underlying processes, including DHR tax processes.

  • Supporting monthly, quarterly and yearly direct tax processes, including tax audits support.

This position is part of the Cytiva Tax team located in multiple countries (US, Europe and China) and will be Remote within Hungary.

What you will do:

  • Manage the budget for internal and external tax spend within Cytiva including close partnership with Cytiva FP&A team for forecasting and tracking

  • Compliance: Management and oversight of the global direct tax compliance for the business, working with external service providers and Cytiva controllership team to ensure timely and accurate filing of tax returns and making of tax payments

  • Communication: Provide regular tax updates to the finance community

  • Operations: Involved in the monthly DHR tax statistics and tax roll forward reporting, bi-annual tax provisions (ASC740 Soft and Hard Close) in “ Corptax tool” , quarterly FIN-48 reporting and quarterly EBT/Tax forecast reviews, to ensure timely and accurate submissions

  • Monitor globally the withholding tax compliance through establishing SOPs as well as monitoring accurate and timely submissions.

  • Supporting the annual Permanent Establishment certification to DHR, proactively monitor and support any open action items and be the subject matter expert globally as part of the Global Business Change policy

  • Supporting Cytiva Transfer Pricing team with analysis and reporting tasks

Who you are:

  • University's degree in Accounting, Tax, Finance

  • 3-5 years of experience in tax accounting/tax management in an international environment

  • Fluent English, in written and spoken

    It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

  • OneStream

  • Oracle/SAP
