What you’ll do:

As a Material Planning Team Leader you will manage a team of local and remote material planners in Pune and other potential strategical sites including P2P activities for internal or external vendors shipping finished products to our main 3 Distribution Centers in EMEA.

You will have a managing part and an acting part in your daily job. The role will report directly to Manager – Material Planning CoE ES EMEA.

• Act as team leader and stay responsible for 1-2 critical vendors with the highest volume.

• Ensure that your team and you as a leader build up a good relationship and understand the constraints of our external vendors and communicate clearly internally and externally.

• Manage a team of up to 10 tactical and strategical planners for the main DC's shipments with finished products.

• Supervise and ensure team is working and following approved Material Planning RASCI matrix and SIOP process and ensure that internal and external vendors get forecast properly and work with forecasts in alignment with the EMEA task force and Global CM team.

• Working together closely with Network planners/schedulers, ES EMEA Material Planning Manager and PE Manager and affected teams to improve delivery situation.

• Govern processes to improve planning parameters and replenishment strategies, like lot size, lead-time etc. in the local ERP systems.

• Managing changing scenarios like seasonality, forecast changes, supply chain changes and deploy the necessary changes.

• Continuously improving processes that affect leading indicators with internal and external vendors in alignment with OM for RDC/BDC.

• Ensuring that planning data (policies and parameters) on the ERP system are accurate and continuously adapted to current scenarios.

Qualifications:

  • A-Level or comparable. Bachelor's degree in relevant area preferred

  • 3-5 years in comparable role

  • SAP MM advanced level, MS Office advanced level
