Job Description Summary

In this role, as a Freight Audit Analyst you will facilitate Logistics Invoice Audit related projects across GEHC EMEA (Europe, Middle East & Africa) region. As a subject matter expert your will drive process simplifications to ensure on time payment to the Logistics Providers and accurate cost bookings to the general ledger. Design and develop Freight Audit related procedures, roll out best practices. Will support overall Global strategy and productivity improvements.

Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Managing invoice audit projects to completion on time and on budget

  • Maintaining a master plan for all country implementations of freight payment process in EMEA

  • The subject matter expert is articulate information effectively to diverse audience

  • Propose alternatives to both senior management and core stakeholders in the invoice audit area

  • Leading country teams to implement freight payment process supported by outsourced specialist audit company

  • Ensuring consistent accounting procedures and policies for freight cost implemented in each country

  • Prevent operational disruption with respective risk management

  • Designing effective freight payment process to meet country regulations and policies

Required Qualifications and Competencies

  • College or Relevant high-level degree or formal qualification on business, finance or supply chain.

  • Fluent in English in verbal and written.

  • Fully competent using Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access, etc.)

  • Participated in simplification projects, process improvement projects.

  • Well-grounded in financial & IT management

  • Experience in freight audit and accounts payable & accounting.

  • Knowledge of transportation tariffs and audit processes

  • Familiarity with logistics / supply chain processes
