What you’ll do:

The HR Business Partner drives the EMEA functional talent management strategy, organizational effectiveness, cultural & structural changes, and any employee relations management within the function in partnership with field HR partners. As a member of the dedicated functional leadership teams, the HRBP helps to establish functional goals and strategic plan, particularly as related to human capital needs.

1. Simplification & Digitalization: Proactively streamline and optimize site HR policies and processes, fully utilizing the HR support services and Eaton’s digitalization efforts.

2. Business partner: Act as business partner, solution provider, advisor and counselor for the site leaders and teams. Understand and contribute to the business strategies and identify opportunities to improve organizational capability. Act as a role model and sponsor for Eaton Values and Philosophy.

3. Change agent: Champion organization change to facilitate alignment of human capital plans to the function’s strategic plan. Drive culture change to align the organization with the strategy.

4. Compliance & Governance: Ensure Eaton’s internal processes, country laws and applicable labor relations requirements are communicated, understood and complied with within the functions and countries.

5. HR Functional Excellence:

  • Build organizational capability to meet the current and future needs of the business; utilize data including OCA (Organizational Capability Assessment) to assess and address functional talent development needs, including succession planning, talent acquisition, organization design, diversity, retention and tracking of OCA actions.

  • Work in conjunction with the site leaders and teams to advance functional excellence (culture, employee engagement) and develop and support functional learning resources.

  • Proactively drive simplification of HR processes, optimizing and maximizing the support offered by HR Services.

  • Ensure that all HR activities and programs are implemented in accordance with Eaton’s HR strategy and the Function’s strategy in collaboration with centralized resources.

6. Team: Collaborate with the Leadership Team and team of Corporate & Electrical HR Teams to optimize / leverage standard work and support across the site for items such as wellness, I&D, communications, Leadership Development, HR Services etc.

Qualifications:

  • University Degree

  • 5+ years’ experience in multi-national HR Operational and Management environment across EMEA

Skills:

  • Experience in partnering with senior leadership to create and drive strategic HR and key functional organization initiatives on a regional scale

  • Experience in driving organizational and cultural changes in a complex environment

  • Experience in Organization Development, including Organizational Change Management, Compensation, Talent Assessment, and Employment Law coupled with practical savvy for coaching management on these topics and applying the knowledge to training and deployment.
