Morgan Stanley HR Business Management Reporting Analyst in Budapest, Hungary

You will:

  • Produce regular financial reporting and assist with development of presentations to senior management around budget, operating costs, project spend and headcount.
  • Analyze and understand the drivers of variances between monthly and year to date actuals versus budget and estimates, identify potential challenges and risks.
  • Maintain and further develop reporting functionalities by building relationships with other divisional stakeholders (Technology, Finance, Data&Analytics) for process improvements
  • Ensure data integrity across budgetary tracking tools
  • Serve as relationship contact for the project management team regarding management of financial expenditures
  • Coordinate global HR budget and forecasting process
  • Manage the business processes and transactions which surround the daily operations

You have:

**

  • 1-3 years work-related experience. Working with financial data, reporting, project management is a plus
  • Having demonstrated strong partnerships with both internal and external business partners and alliances
  • Self-starter with strong and creative problem-solving skills, who is able to balance multiple priorities in a fast-changing environment
  • Ability to work well independently with little supervision
  • Clearly and concisely communicate ideas, recommendations orally and in writing to a wide range of audiences, as well as exceptional listening and presentation skills
  • Successful candidate will have a roll up your sleeves “can do” mindset
  • Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint and data analysis packages; Power BI is a plus.

Team Profile:

The Human Resources Business Management team works cross-functionally to implement long-term strategic business plans in line with divisional financial goals. The team provides overall operational management and advisory services to Morgan Stanley’s HR division globally. This includes the management of departmental budgets and expenses, contingent life-cycle, assessment of processes and procedures and governance of HR vendor relationships. To be successful in this role, the candidate must be a self-starter capable of solving complex problems, have the ability to multi-task across a variety of projects and processes, be a succinct and accurate communicator, and be attentive to details.
