Reporting to BT Italy Billing Manager the role holder will be responsible of the Standard Billing Operations process for a given portfolio of customer/products. He / she is typically taking responsibility for day2day monitoring and performance of the billing activities and for coordinating the activities of offshore operation team. This may involve the billing process efficiency (order entry, bill cycle run, invoice production) and quality management.
Key purpose of the role
•Manage Billing Operations governance assigning billing activities to resources in Gurgaon driving billing accuracy and completeness
•Run controls and monitor billing processes to keep under control billing accuracy and completeness
•Drive billing operation improvement roadmap plan for billing FIAT and Data group
•Secure timely and accurate manual/automatic billing production for FIAT and Data group
•Manage FIAT and Data Billing Operations virtual team
•Manage FIAT Billing cycle, invoicing and dispatching processes.
•Comply with the BT billing best practices, processes and regulation.
•Secure monitoring and achievement of Billing Key performance accuracy and quality target for FIAT and Data group billing process
•Secure Billing Key performance Customer Satisfaction target for FIAT and Data Group
•Contribute to BT cash objectives
You'll have the following skills & experience
•Ability to work as part of a cross functional virtual team and deliver to timescales set
•Ability to simplify complex issues to aid understanding and translate issues into action which deliver into the goals and targets for the CFU
•Excellent negotiation and influencing skills, working as a collaborative partner to support the change agenda across the Brand / Channel
•Ability to support longer term billing improvements, removing risk of incidents through development of policies and practices.
•Knowledge of the billing processes
•Managing requests for various audits
•Experience in Billing / Collections Operations
•Understanding European invoicing / billing legislation and regulatory environment, Italian legislation knowledge is an advantage
•Project/change management experience
•Experience of reviewing and implementing business and IT deployments and controls
•Experience of working in a complex business environment particularly within the telecoms sector
•Stakeholder management
•English and Italian knowledge on fluent level
