Test automation software engineer

Our team analyzes and develops embedded software for CNC controllers

which we integrate and test on real-time and embedded Linux systems.

Tasks:

  • testing of machine tools functions in script languages

  • development of automated test cases

  • bug reproduction and debugging

  • collaboration and consultation with the other development teams in Germany/Hungary

Expectations:

  • degree in specialization (engineering, informatics, computer science, physicist, ...)

  • programming experience in a script language

  • english knowledge

  • ability to work as a member of a team and independently, being flexible

  • analytical thinking, proactivity, precise work

  • intention of learning

Advantages:

  • programming experience in Tcl script language

  • basic knowledge of NC programming

  • programming experience in C or C++ german knowledge

  • experience with agile development methodology

  • user level Linux/Unix skills

  • knowledge of standard Unix development tools ((g)cc, make, etc.)

  • computer network knowledge

  • experience in the field of industrial automation

  • technology knowledge in CNC

  • development experience in real-time/soft-real-time systems and multitasking systems

  • realtime debugging
