What you’ll do:

In this role you will be a member of an EMEA based Strategic Projects Team, which is focusing on various internal projects in case of financial management. As Business Analyst, you will manage project scorecards, supporting project gate reviews, preparing summary presentations, creating business models and developing business scenario plans, conducting make vs buy analysis. Further responsibilities include:

  • Plan, monitor, control and report on the strategic projects / restructuring plan progress and support the monthly report out.

  • To manage the Strategic Projects Team departmental financial budgeting / reporting

  • General budget planning / management and business metric reporting support (incl. scorecards)

  • Provide support to PMs/ Work stream leads to ensure completeness, accuracy, timeliness and appropriateness of the inputs / reports

  • To help identify new project opportunities (develop business models and alternative scenario plans as appropriate)

  • To conduct make v buy studies, to develop robust process & templates

  • To support and assist in preparation for Pro launch STP & DS Gate Reviews

  • Ensure correct approvals are in place and detailed records are kept in order to maintain/demonstrate restructuring policy compliance

  • To create graphical presentations to assist communication of message

  • To support the annual creation of restructuring profit plan and strategic plan

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in field of Finance, Accounting, Controlling, Business management, Economic or relevant area.

  • Proven track record working in an FP&A function, preferably in manufacturing environment

  • Solid understanding and experience with US GAAP, familiarity with Sarbanes Oxley & IFRS

  • Leading cross business projects from finance point of view

  • Excellent IT application & data management skills

  • Provide continuous and trustful financial support to project managers

  • The role anticipates up to 25% travel and the personal flexibility and initiative to support achievement of deadlines

  • Strong Analytical, Planning and Organizational Skills

  • Strong influencing skills, flexibility & agility and ability to communicate effectively at senior level

  • Working often in emotionally challenging circumstances the role requires both empathy and demonstration of managerial courage.
