Shift time: 11 pm to 7 am, Rotating Days

Purpose of Role

We are seeking skilled and reliable Forklift Operators to join our team. This role\'s main responsibility is to transport goods safely and efficiently from the production line to the warehouse. The Forklift Operator will play a crucial role in ensuring the seamless flow of materials and products within our facility, contributing to our production, inventory, and distribution processes.

Areas of Accountabilities

Operate Forklift Equipment:

  • Safely operate a forklift to load, unload, and transport goods and materials between the production line and the warehouse.
  • Ensure accurate placement and organization of goods within the warehouse.

Material Handling:

  • Transport raw materials, finished products, and other items as needed.
  • Maintain inventory by identifying, labeling, and placing materials and supplies in stock, recording location of inventory.

Quality Control:

  • Spot check products to ensure they meet quality standards and are free from damage.
  • Report any discrepancies or damages to the appropriate personnel.

Safety and Maintenance:

  • Adhere to all safety guidelines and protocols to prevent accidents and injuries.
  • Perform routine maintenance checks on forklifts and report any mechanical issues at the beginning of the shift.

Collaboration:

  • Work closely with production and warehouse to ensure smooth operations.

Knowledge, Skills, and Experience

  • Experience:

{=html} <!-- --> - Proven experience as a forklift operator in a production or warehouse environment. - Familiarity with warehouse management systems and inventory control. - Valid forklift operator certification/license. - Excellent hand-eye coordination and attention to detail. - Strong organizational skills and ability to manage time effectively. - Basic computer skills. - Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 25 pounds) and perform repetitive tasks. - Stamina to work in various environmental conditions, including hot, cold, and noisy environments.
