Amgen Sr Biopharmaceutical Representative - Cardiology (based in Bucharest) in Bucharest, Romania

As a Senior Biopharmaceutical Representative, the role involves developing strategic plans to sell biopharmaceutical products to healthcare professionals and other potential customers. The representative builds strong relationships with key industry stakeholders and stays updated with industry trends and regulatory requirements.

Main purpose of the role - Maximizes sales of Amgen’s products in territory

  • Achieves sales targets

  • Collaborates with manager to implement agreed POA in line with marketing strategy

  • Delivers key messages

  • Prepare, deliver and periodically update Territory Action Plan for assigned territory

  • Implement the actions proposed in Territory Action Plan

  • Identifies and establishes high quality customer relationships and internal collaboration

  • Knows in-depth knowledge of the product(s), market , stakeholders and competitors

  • Works within agreed budgets

  • Develops main activity in Bucharest

  • Use in a compliant and timely manner all Amgen Systems

  • Lives the Amgen Values

Main responsibilities:

  • Collaborates with manager to develop and implement territory POA and key account plans. Achieve POA

  • Evaluates progress vs. plan monthly and agrees to course corrections with manager

  • Contributes to Cluster/Territory Teams Collaborates (Medical Affairs/Key Account Manager, etc.) to agree on key account plan objectives/responsibilities

  • Solid product promotional knowledge, selling and presentation skills

  • Engage s with peers, Marketing and BUM to learn best practices

  • Demonstrates an understanding of industry and healthcare trends, of how retail practices, clinics and hospitals operate.

  • Identify and gather competitive information

  • Follows through on customer commitments and requests in a timely fashion

  • Reports daily customer activity in the CRM system and ensures customers recordings and customers' profiles are kept up to date

  • Demonstrates an understanding of Amgen Performance 4 selling platform to satisfy customer and Amgen needs

  • Operates within the agreed expense budget aligned with POA priorities

  • Seeks advice and assistance to organize activities

  • Continuously develops and improves product knowledge, communication, selling skills and presentation skills through self-learning and active participation in agreed training programs. Drives own development

Minimum requirements:

  • Minimum 3 (1) to 5 (3) years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry in a sales-related job

  • Good knowledge of and experience in Cardiology Therapeutically Area or Cardio-Metabolic/Diabetology Therapeutically area.

  • Analytical thinking and the ability to design and prepare a strategy for a given region and hospital

  • Experience with computer systems (CRM databases and MS Office)

  • Fluency in Romanian, both in oral and written communication

Preferred requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Medicine, Pharmacy or similar

  • Fluency in Romanian and English, both in oral and written communication

  • Experience in both Specialty & Primary Care selling environments
