HP Inc. Senior Lease End-of-Term Asset and Contract Reconciliation Lead in Bucharest, Romania

As the initial cohort of the Leasing Operations team for the region, this new role involves overseeing and streamlining leasing activities within a specific geographic area. The ideal candidate will be a skilled operational practitioner with a solid understanding of the leasing operational process at End of Term (EOT) and ensure on-going compliance with HP Inc. operational processes and all regulatory requirements (including SOX).

You will take accountability for ensuring a positive sales and End-Of-Term experience.

You will support your fellow E2E Lease Enablement colleague teams with a proper alignment of each End-of-term capabilities. You will have analytical judgment and be responsible for reconciling all assets going to the EOT as compared to the lease schedules. You will provide mentoring and guidance to your team members as the team grows. You will be routinely expected to exercise independent judgment in developing methods, techniques, and criteria for achieving objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

Coordinating and managing relationships with:

  • The Leasing Process Owner team (responsible for Process Design)

  • Regional Leasing Operations Manager

  • Multiple cross functional stakeholders at a senior level to gain buy in and collaboration, managing communication effectively.

You will:

  • Ensure at end of term all lease Schedules and Contracts balances have been down and paid off.

  • Manage reconciliation of final balances on schedule ending with both end customer and HP's Financial Partners.

  • Collaborate with the EOT team so that the Integrated Leasing (IL) process is fully aligned with end customers and each Financial Partners as it relates to End of Lease Contract.

  • Ensure Asset and Contract Reconciliations​ are effectively managed

  • Be involved in building a Regional Leasing Operations team.

  • Be involved in the implementation of an efficient and harmonized global lease processes & a lease management system.

  • Encourage innovative practices in leasing End-of-Term operations to maintain competitiveness in the regional market.

Experience and skills required:

  • 5+ years of experience in leasing operations, IT equipment leasing experience is a plus.

  • Proficiency In handling lease documentation

  • Expertise in End-of-Term Asset and Contract Reconciliation operational procedures, financial analysis related to leasing agreements, and compliance with relevant laws and regulations is crucial.

  • Strong communication skills

  • Ability to lead and coordinate efforts across teams.

  • Analytical mindset to assess market trends and financial data are highly valued. This role demands a proactive, problem-solving attitude, the ability to work efficiently under pressure, and meticulous attention to detail to ensure the alignment of leasing operations with business objectives.

  • Effective Management of Change to lead transition to a new business model requiring dramatic changes in organizational design, roles & responsibilities, and processes.

Operational Excellence:

Test, execute & maintain the end-to-end regional leasing process in the areas assigned

Regularly review relevant metrics and industry best practices to enhance the efficiency and accuracy of leasing operations within the region.

Compliance and Regulations:

Guarantee adherence to regional leasing laws, regulations, and standards.

Team Collaboration:

Positively collaborate with your team peers and Manager to foster a culture of excellence, innovation, continuous improvement, and outstanding customer service.

Financial Management:

Cost Reduction: Implementing strategies to reduce operational costs, enhance profitability & drive a better Sales, Customer and Finance Partner experience.

Stakeholder Engagement:

Work closely with internal stakeholders (such as finance, legal, sales) to ensure leasing operations delivers against regional business objectives.

Ensure process & tool related continuous feedback loops in place with the relevant leasing process design team

Technology and Innovation:

Ensure the technological solutions are optimized to improve leasing processes and customer experiences within the region.

Encourage innovative practices in leasing operations to maintain competitiveness in the regional market.
