What you’ll achieve

As a System Administrator Software Principal Engineer , you will be responsible for developing sophisticated systems and software based on the customer’s business goals, needs and general business environment creating software solutions. Design, implement, and maintain our system infrastructure, with a primary focus on leveraging Jenkins for continuous integration and deployment.

You will:

•Contribute to the design and architecture of high-quality, complex systems and software/storage environments

•Prepare, review and evaluate software/storage specifications for products and systems

•Contribute to the development and implementation of test strategies for complex software products and systems/for storage products and systems

Essential Requirements

  • Strong experience in designing, implementing, optimizing, Lead the design and architecture of scalable, reliable, and secure toolset environments based on business requirements and industry best practices.

  • Define integration strategies for seamless interaction between Atlassian products and other systems/tools within the organization's ecosystem.

  • Proven expertise in system architecture, performance tuning, security implementations, and integration strategies within the Atlassian ecosystem and Build Systems .

  • Strong programming/scripting skills (e.g., Java, Groovy, Python) and experience with automation tools (e.g., Ansible, Puppet, Jenkins, Kubernetes, Docker) for system administration and automation tasks.

  • Excellent communication skills, leadership abilities, and a collaborative mindset to work effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.

Desirable Requirements

•Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (Master's degree preferred).

•Atlassian certifications such as Atlassian Certified Professional (ACP), Atlassian Certified Master (ACM), or similar certifications are a plus.
