Job Description

Provides programs to improve operational efficiency, consistency, and compliance in support of the organization's financial and tactical business objectives. Provides business practices and processes. Develops, communicates, and trains the organization on business practices and processes.

Serve as a liaison with other divisions such as Finance, Contracts, HR, Legal, Shared Services, Accounts Receivable, Purchasing, and Risk Management in an effort to ensure accurate and timely transaction processing. Collect, input, verify, correct, and analyze data to measure key performance indicator actual versus business objectives. Provide updates to management regarding budget to actual, informing them of deviations and opportunities. Provide management with economic impact and compliance issues surrounding key business decisions and/or deals. Communicate Oracle Business Practices to the organization and monitor process and approvals for full compliance. Drive implementation of new processes and procedures.

Job duties are varied and complex utilizing independent judgment. May have project lead role. Attention to detail critical. Ability to collect, organize, and display data in spreadsheet format. Follow-through skills necessary to get information from internal and third parties and have data errors/omissions corrected. For this, relationship management skills strongly desired. Strong written and verbal communication skills to interact with management and possible clients desired. 5 plus years relevant work experience.

Responsibilities

  • Develop a strong understanding of all the major components of the GLAS Business and Oracle internal data sources

  • Create and maintain recurring and custom performance analyses to assess the health of the business and proactively identify opportunities for improvement.

  • Become a trust advisor for our business, helping them understand the key drivers of their performance.

  • Enhance visibility into performance by creating and maintaining GLAS analysis and dashboards.

  • Assist in developing and delivering presentations for leaders at the company.

  • Identify new and better ways of doing things and create a plan to execute them.

Qualification s

  • 3-5 years of experience in finance, analytics, business operations or other related fields.

  • Prior experience with planning and budgeting,

  • Bachelor's degree in an analytical or business-related field or equivalent experience.

  • High level of proficiency in Excel and prior experience working with BI Software (Domo, Tableau, Power BI)

  • Advanced VBA Excel background, Intermediate SQL

  • Comfort retrieving and aggregating data from multiple sources and compiling it into a digestible and actionable format.

  • Proven problem solving, project management skills, attention to detail, and exceptional organizational skills.

  • Passionate about understanding the business and building scalable, repeatable analytics.

  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills, both written and verbal with the ability to build strong professional relationships at all levels.

  • Fluent English, other languages depending on region
