Honeywell Process Engineer Principal in Bryan, Texas

As a Principal Engineer here at Honeywell, you will be a key contributor to the design and development of cutting-edge solutions. You will play a critical role in leading and driving the engineering process, ensuring the delivery of high-quality and reliable products. Your expertise and leadership will inspire and motivate the team to deliver exceptional results. You will report directly to our Engineering Manager and you'll work out of our Bryan, TX location. In this role, your expertise in engineering design and development will contribute to the creation of cutting-edge products and solutions that meet the needs of our customers. By leading and driving the engineering process, you will ensure the delivery of high-quality and reliable systems, components, and assemblies. Your ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and define engineering requirements and specifications will enable seamless integration with other components and systems, enhancing the overall performance and functionality of our products. Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and drive the engineering process, from concept to production

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define engineering requirements and specifications

  • Provide technical guidance and support to junior engineers

U.S. PERSON REQUIREMENTS

YOU MUST HAVE

  • Strong knowledge of engineering design principles and methodologies

  • Proficiency in CAD software and other design tools

  • Experience with engineering analysis and simulation tools

  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills

  • Strong communication and collaboration abilities

WE VALUE

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field • 6+ years of experience in engineering design and development

  • Proven track record of successful engineering projects

  • Ability to lead and mentor junior engineers

  • Strong understanding of industry standards and best practices

  • Experience with product testing and validation

  • Knowledge of materials and manufacturing processes
