As part of the Global PMO team, the Functional PMO Analyst is responsible for oversight and value delivery of the Transcend program. As a part of the role, they will work with the assigned functional teams to ensure compliance and consistency of the plans, execution, and reporting in line with the program standards, processes, and methodologies. The Analyst serves as a senior-level independent contributor with expertise in at least one technical area and applies project management skills, data analytics capabilities, and strong communication to support problem-solving and smooth program execution. The Analyst is responsible for understanding and applying J&J's Credo and Leadership Imperatives in day-to-day interactions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide support to the pillar teams to update work schedules, meeting / workshop schedules, resource plans, interdependency log, and change requests

  • Provide support on progress tracking, meetings and workshop coordination, maintenance of minutes, actions, and decisions logs based on pillar team feedback and guidance

  • Support for updating team / program level reports and dashboards, highlight inconsistencies and risks, partner with functional teams to develop mitigation plans, support preparing status summaries for pillar and PMO leadership

  • Capture and consolidate insights and develop analytics to help functional teams in scope driving various decisions for their area of ownership

  • Support the assigned teams as a PMO POC and be the SME for the PMO tools

  • Support creation and maintenance of PMO documentation, such as templates, mid-level plans, roadmaps, playbook elements, presentations

  • Advise teams of the compliant use of the PMO tools, data quality and completeness aligned to the Global PMO processes and standards and bring up if any discrepancies unable to be solved at the team level

  • Carry out any other duties related to the given scope of practice in support of the team primary activities and objectives

Qualifications

Education:

  • Minimum of a Bachelor’s/University or equivalent degree required; preferred area(s) of study in Supply Chain, Information Technology, Finance, or Data Analytics

Experience and Skills:

Required:

  • Minimum 2 years of relevant work experience

  • Supply Chain operations work experience

  • Experience within a project management environment, including having an active role in participating and leading projects

  • Demonstrated experience working on ERP implementation or large deployment projects

  • Applied knowledge of project tools (such as Smartsheet, Jira, and/or Planisware)

  • Proficiency with MS Excel and PowerPoint

  • Strong analytical skills, with experience working with complex data sets and processes, and proven ability to draw conclusions and make decisions based on analytical findings

  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills, a demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams, and the flexibility and adaptability to thrive in a dynamic environment

Preferred:

  • Ability to understand the business functions and how systems and applications will be used by business partners to effectively applytechnical expertise and work independently within scope, receiving general guidance

  • Experience in developing analytical dashboards (Tableau, Qlik, etc.)

  • Certifications in Project Management (e.g., FPX, PMP, or equivalent) and/or Process Management (e.g., Lean / Six Sigma)

Other:

  • Requires fluency in English (oral and written)

  • May require up to 5% travel, domestic and international

  • Requires the ability, through our flexible work policy, to work on-site a minimum of three days each week, with the option for two remote workdays each week
