Description

ICF Next is one of the leading integrated communication agencies in Europe, specialising in large-scale campaigns across the European Union. We are looking for a creative and dynamic team player to fill the position of Public Relations Trainee.

Main PR responsibilities

  • Mapping of media outlets, stakeholder organisations and influencers within the framework of European projects/campaigns

  • Managing and updating databases

  • Pitching and reaching out to media outlets, stakeholder organisations and influencers by e-mail and phone (mostly in English but any additional languages is an asset)

  • Ensuring the set-up and sending of mailings via dedicated tools

  • Checking online content generated by online users

  • Assessing the content based on a set of community guidelines and flagging the content that is not in line with these guidelines

  • Monitoring of PR and social media activities and project/campaign pick up

  • Analysis, reporting and presentation of results in dedicated reports and presentations

Requirements

  • Attention to details

  • Good storytelling and pitching skills

  • Good written communication skills

  • Excellent knowledge of English (any other language will be considered an asset)

  • Good understanding of EU institutions and interest in communicating about EU policies to EU citizens

  • At ease with Microsoft Office, mailings and survey tools

  • Proactive, solution-oriented and can-do mindset

  • Good interpersonal skills

  • Good organisational skills, ability to meet deadlines

  • Willingness in acquiring new skills and undertaking new tasks

  • Quick learner, receptive to new information and assignments
