Description

ICF Next is one of the leading integrated communication agencies in Europe, specialising in large-scale campaigns across the European Union. We are looking for a creative and dynamic team player to fill the position of Freelance Copywriter/Editor.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Propose editorial concepts based on gathering and analysing relevant materials.

  • Write and edit high-quality original content.

  • Manage editorial projects, this may include the coordination of the work of less experienced writers.

  • Ensure the quality of written material, including proofreading and linguistic check.

  • Performance of journalistic research and interviews if needed.

  • Transfer of knowledge on good/bad copy to various internal stakeholders.

  • Rewrite and adapting content for specific target audiences (online and offline).

Required Knowledge and Skills:

  • Extremely strong writing and editorial skills, with a capacity for synthesis, analysis and creative writing as demonstrated in a professional work setting.

  • Demonstrated knowledge of all main EU policies and the main public opinion elements related to them.

  • Ability to impart information and train others.

  • Native level or equivalent for the language(s) freelancer will be working in: Understanding (C2), Speaking (C2), Writing (C2)

Professional Skills:

  • Demonstrated experience working on projects across EU countries.

  • Excellent written and spoken communication skills.

  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred.

  • Excellent presentation skills and knowledge of relevant tools and software.
