Coastal Health District WIC CSR-Brunswick in Brunswick, Georgia

Provides phone management for the Women, Infants and Children's Nutrition Program (WIC) managed by the Coastal Health District. Position responsible for answering phone and making appointments, giving directions and or/general information to persons seeking information for the WIC program. Call Center is located in Brunswick but will cover WIC calls for all 8 counties. Will perform other caseload management functions such as maintaining appointment reminder system and assuring WIC in-reach is conducted using monthly WIC reports.

Applicants must be very detail oriented able to work in a fast-paced, multi-tasking environment and possess strong customer service and computer skills. 1.Receives, screens and directs telephone communications 2. Opens, sorts and routes incoming mail, answer correspondence, and prepares outgoing mail 3. Proofreads or verifies existing documents, reports, mathematical figures, etc. to ensure accuracy 4. Provides general clerical support to the District WIC program, to include such tasks as data entry/maintenance, distributing documents and materials, maintaining record-keeping and filing systems, etc 5. Provides direction, instruction, and guidance to WIC participants via the telephone. 6. Schedules appointment for WIC participants 7. Assists internal and external customers with maneuvering through WIC processes. 8. Adheres to the WIC processing standards and guidelines.

Minimum Qualifications: High school diploma or GED AND Six months of experience handling customer's questions, complaints and/or providing information.
