**[Mechanical Integrity Engineer, Brunswick Cellulose LLC, Brunswick, GA:

**[Job Duties: Responsible for integrity program to ensure that the facility complies with all company requirements and recommendations, regulatory requirements, and relevant codes, standards, guidelines and Recognized and Generally Accepted Good Engineering Practices (RAGAGEP) from industrial and professional organizations. Oversee the annual inspection of 125 external tank and pressure vessel inspections per API 653 and API 510 (on average). Oversee the annual inspection of 60 internal tank and pressure vessel inspections per API 653 and API 510 (on average). Oversee the testing and inspection of all Pressure Relief Valves and Pressure Vacuum Breakers. Supervise and manage the on-site 3rd party Non-Destructive Examination (NDE) inspection firm responsible for executing the inspections and writing repair plans. Ensure that personnel assigned to inspect, test, and maintain process equipment are appropriately trained and have access to appropriate procedures for these activities. Plan and execute repairs to deficiencies discovered on all tanks and pressure vessels. Maintain fixed equipment inspection and repair documentation and other records to enable consistent performance of MI activities. Provide engineering support to Maintenance and Operations with regards to troubleshooting, problem solving, cost estimating and implementation of mechanical design solutions. Participate and lead Root Cause Failure Analysis (RCFA) and Failure Mode Effects Analysis (FMEA) efforts to identify root causes of complex and/or repetitive problems and put in place executable corrective actions. Participate in design and implementation of Asset Improvement Strategies for systems to improve production and uptime. Assist all plant staff in recognizing when equipment deficiencies occur and including controls to help ensure that equipment deficiencies do not lead to serious incidents.

**[Minimum Requirements: Employer requires a Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field and 3 years of experience working in a Pulp and Paper manufacturing facility.

  • 3 years of experience managing process improvement projects.
  • 3 years of experience with asset life cycle management.
  • 3 years of experience with FMEA (Failure Modes and Effects Analysis).

  • 3 years of experience with RCA (Root Cause Analysis).
