General Description:

Under the direct supervision of the Chief Financial Officer, performs complex clerical, bookkeeping and accounting work. Experience in preparing financial statements, reports, schedules, and exhibits; prepare and/or processes general journal entries and prepares or processes payment, cash, purchase, travel and related vouchers. Must have ability to interpret and apply accounting theory; laws and regulations; work accurately with numerical detail along with effective communication. Must have working knowledge of Excel, accounting procedures and computerized accounting system.

Qualifications: Graduation from an accredited college or university with major coursework in accounting, finance or related field is generally preferred. Experience and education may be substituted for one another. A valid Texas drivers license and driving record in compliance with Center for Life Resources policies is required. Must be able to complete all staff development training.
