Brownsville Borough Administrative Assistant / Clerical in Brownsville, Pennsylvania
PRIMARY DUTIES
- Interact with the public and answer questions that come into the office in-person or by phone.
- Refer complaints to the appropriate officer or administrator.
- Efficiently file and maintain all Borough and code enforcement records.
- Back up the Secretary/Treasurer in payroll, council minutes, mail sorting, and other tasks as needed.
- Carry out any other tasks that may be assigned by the Borough Secretary/Treasurer.
REQUIRED SKILLS:
- Ability to respond to colleagues, councilmen, and the public in a calm cooperative fashion.
- Ability to take direction.
- Superior knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Detail-oriented work ethic.
