Assists Maintenance Technicians with technical issues or advanced problems with given assignments. Perform maintenance tasks on machinery and equipment. Responsible for the efficient flow, maintenance, and major repair of all machinery in the assigned area(s). Review PM logs & enter downtime information into TrakSYS system. Efficiently maintain an accurate inventory of all parts. Formulate parts orders for all equipment. Work with vendors to receive quotes and estimate time & materials. Report attendance and break violations to management. Handle minor personnel matters. Refer major personnel issues to the Supervisor. Coach and develop employees utilizing the Professional Mechanic Career program. Lead daily safety 'Toolbox Talks'. Complete and maintain certification for company sponsored programs including PSM-RMP, HAACP, Spray Irrigation Operator, Ammonia Refrigeration and High-Pressure Boiler Operator. What You'll Bring: A two-year certificate from college or technical school; or three to five years related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience. Basic computer knowledge and skills, including word processing and spreadsheets. Ability to read, analyze and interpret operating and maintenance instructions, diagrams, and blueprints. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from customers, vendors, employees, and managers.
