Slayden Constructors Inc. (SCI), a wholly owned subsidiary of MWH Constructors, Inc. (MWH), is currently seeking a Project Superintendent to support a wastewater infrastructure project in Pasco, Washington. Essential Functions Enforce the job-specific health and safety Plan. Hold daily morning coordination meetings with superintendents and project staff. Establish and sequence weekly construction activities and relay them to the project team. Coordinate and schedule between different work areas, superintendents, and subcontractors. Provide 3-week look-ahead schedules weekly. Be aware of all RFIs, submittals, and other change documentation impacting the work. Audit subcontractor daily reports and prepare a comprehensive Daily Report for the work being performed. Provide and sign off on required permits (e.g. confined space, hot work, excavation). Coordinate the development of field engineering drawings such as concrete lift drawings, mechanical shop drawings, clash detection, 3D modeling, etc. Prepare and coordinate Method of Procedure (MOP) submittals to the client. Be accountable for self-perform labor production rates and efficiency. Provide quantities installed & review weekly labor production reports. Assist the Project Manager in the monthly budget forecast. Manage company-owned and rental construction equipment. Prepare & Review Work Plans. Coordinate with the project scheduler providing weekly updates to build into the progress schedule. Attend Owner/Engineer weekly construction progress meetings Basic Qualifications At least 5 years of experience supervising/managing water or wastewater treatment plant projects. Strong ability to coordinate between and encourage project team members while also maintaining accountability. Ability to negotiate with subcontractors and facilitate a positive working environment and culture. Ability to calmly react to real-time problems and identify solutions. Knowledge of all construction disciplines (civil, mechanical, electrical, etc.). Cost control, manpower planning, and scheduling knowledge. Knowledge of computer systems and programs (MS Word, Excel, etc.). Experience with Project closeout and punch-list management. Preferred Qualifications Safety oriented, OSHA training. Prior experience and expertise with water/wastewater projects.
