Department Overview Aria’s Product Management team is spread across our San Francisco and Philadelphia (Broomall) offices. The team works primarily remotely but connects in either office as needed. The team’s focus is to strategize on the future roadmap of the Aria subscription platform while making immediate product enhancements for current customers by driving agile product delivery through Scrum. Position Summary We are looking for a dynamic product manager to lead the prioritization and management of new offerings and enhancing features in coordination with select go-to-market partners and vendors. This product line, focused on Communication Service Providers and industries with similar billing needs, relies heavily on integrations and connective product solutions that amplify the value of Aria when used with select other services and platforms. The ideal candidate is experienced, creative and has a passion to change the world by building great products. This role is tactical and hands-on but has significant strategic importance as well. Responsibilities • Gather, analyze, and prioritize product requirements based on stakeholder input and telco standards including TMForum • Write business epics and user stories • Maintain the Roadmap and product backlog based on stakeholder input • Work with engineers to build the Aria Billing and Rating features / product by serving as Product Owner on agile Scrum teams • Conduct market research and competitive analysis • Develop a go-to-market strategy and messaging • Assist the sales team in preparing and delivering compelling demos that highlight the benefits of the product relative to customer requirements • Provide expert product guidance to customers, professional services, and implementation partners • Own the entire lifecycle of product features from concept to delivery Required Qualifications • Minimum 2 years of product management experience (or its equivalent) in an enterprise or SaaS software product company with experience in: • Requirements gathering and roadmap planning based on stakeholder input • Writing Epics and User Stories • Competitive analysis • Product presentations • Running customer programs such as betas, workshops etc. • Proven ability to multi-task and interact with many customers • Experience with Agile / Scrum development methodologies • BA/BS in computer science, engineering, business, or related field • Project & Vendor Management experience • This role relies heavily on identifying, understanding, and enhancing partner solutions and integration abilities • This role relies heavily on managing internal and external (contractor) development, testing, and go-to-market vendors to deliver long-running product offers Preferred Qualifications • Subject Matter Expertise (SME) of Communications Service Providers (CSPs)billing and subscription management needs. This could include: • Knowledge of Billing and Rating products (Rating, mediation, and enrichment) • Knowledge of Wireline or Wireless Telco Industry • Service Delivery and Provisioning • Telco specific rules and regulations regarding invoicing and statement presentation • Extensive experience with enterprise solutions in Billing, Payments, Financial Services, ERP, CRM and/or CPQ. • Knowledge of Subscription or recurring Quote-to-Cash business processes • Experience integrating enterprise applications • Excellent communication, organization, interpersonal and writing skills • Program or Project management using external contractors • Business Analysis experience • Understanding of modern API and Orchestration/Business Process Automation frameworks • Helpful Experience: MuleSoft Anypoint, Salesforce Omnistudio, Swagger/OAS 3.x, ServiceNow ecosystem, Decisions (rules/orchestration engine) Aria Culture Aria Systems fosters a flexible, rewarding, and close-knit work environment while encouraging innovation and self-direction.
