Job Summary and Qualifications
As our Environmental Services Manager, you will reports to the Director of Environmental Services and will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the Environmental Services Department. We are seeking a phenomenal addition like you who feels patient care is as meaningful as we do. We want you to apply now!
This position is Monday - Friday 4p-12a
What you will do in this role:
You will manage staffing levels, and training/education of staff.
You will ensure selection, retention and assignment of competent workforce to ensure effective delivery of departmental services.
You will be responsible for orienting new staff with particular focus on safety and infection control.
You will ensure high standards of cleanliness in first impression areas, i.e., common areas, restrooms, entrances, lobbies and waiting rooms.
You will demonstrate responsibility in managing productivity standards.
You will evaluate and assess staff assignment and work process/design to enhance productivity and service delivery to meet expectations and business goals.
You will use supplies, equipment and services, ensuring a high level of quality services.
You will actively seek ways to control costs without compromising patient safety, quality of care, or the services delivered.
What qualifications you will need:
High School Diploma or GED
3-5 years of experience in Environmental Services
Experience with JCAHO and AHCA highly preferred
Experience interviewing, hiring, and coaching staff preferred
Supervisor or management experience preferred
