*SUMMARY* We are currently seeking aStaff Nurse RNto join our Brooklyn Park Clinic.

This position is a part-time position (8 shifts per pay period). This role will work evening clinics and every third Saturday as well.

* _RESPONSIBILITIES*_ Within the context of the Hennepin Healthcare System Relationship-Based Care practice model, and under general supervision, the registered nurse provides and coordinates nursing care by:

• Protecting, promoting wellness and optimizing health
• Triaging patients by assessing severity of symptoms and referral to appropriate setting or level of care
• Alleviating suffering through the treatment of the human response
• Partnering with the patient, their family and significant others
• Documenting interventions and an individualized plan of care
• Educating patient on their disease process
• Assuring continuity of care
• Educating patient and family in preventative care which promotes health and well being

_QUALIFICATIONS_ Minimum Qualifications: * Graduation from an accredited school of nursing * Possession of a valid license as a Registered Nurse issued by the State of Minnesota * One year of current professional nursing (RN) experience

Preferred Qualifications: * One year of ambulatory/clinical RN experience * Certification in area of clinical specialty * BSN Preferred. Bachelor of Nursing degree is strongly encouraged. Advancement in academic education will be discussed as part of individual professional development during the annual performance review.   /If you are not currently in an Ambulatory department, you would be subject to the Ambulatory pay scale./
