JOB DESCRIPTION JOB TITLE: QEMS (Quality and Environmental Management System) Administrator DEPARTMENT: Quality REPORTS TO: Quality Manager MAJOR FUNCTION Verify that the QEMS (Quality and Environmental Management System) processes are carried out in production and support areas. The administration of documents in the QEMS SharePoint site as well as updating local procedures, templates, and work instructions, according to global standards. Carry out the programming, execution and monitoring of LPA (Layered Process Audits) audits and follow-up to the product audits (Intertek). ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Internal/External Audits Ensure compliance with the Layered Process Audit (LPA) plan. Document nonconformities and opportunities for improvement in the Global QEMS SharePoint site. Planning and Coordination of QEMS Activities Execute the activities of the Annual QEMS Plan Administrative Activities Provide onboarding to new hires on the policy, objectives, and Quality and Environmental Management System Create, review, and validate documents (Work Instructions, Templates, Procedures, etc.) and upload to the QEMS SharePoint Site. Manage and maintain the QEMS SharePoint Site with relevant information. Control of obsolete documents (electronic and physical). Report QEMS performance (KPIs, audit results, corrective action status, % legal compliance, etc.). Manage and maintain adequacy and alignment of local and global processes. Updating the matrix of legal requirements and others. Follow-up of actions defined for SQDCE (Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost, and Environmental). Other Responsibilities Training for employees on the concepts of the Quality and Environmental Management System. Travel up to 5% domestically Other duties as assigned by the Quality Manager. SKILLS AND EDUCATION EDUCATION: Bachelors degree. Technical degree preferred, but not required. EXPERIENCE: Minimum of 1 year in the position, or similar role. KNOWLEDGE & PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES: Problem solving tools (8D), continuous improvement, data analysis, problem resolution Knowledge ISO 9001 and 14001 Teamwork, strong communication skills, customer-focused Able to think strategically, exercise leadership through others, build capacity for growth.
