NPI Quality Manager Position Summary: The NPI Quality Manager will lead and develop the quality team to deliver quality process development projects on time, meeting specifications, within the timeline and budget. The Quality Manager will be responsible for building, managing, and leading the quality department, working cross functionally to ensure the highest possible quality products. Responsibilities NPI Quality Manager Responsibilities:

  • Support, develop, implement, and maintain all New Product Introduction (NPI) QMS processes and procedures, including but not limited to; Complaint Handling, Desing Support and Development, Change Control, Risk Management, Corrective and Preventive Action, Internal Audits, Supplier Quality, Process Control, Document Control and Identification and Traceability
  • Manage all customer and manufacturing projects through the project management system with the quality team
  • Manage all customer projects through pre-production processes, design for manufacturability, and execution of all quality engineering tasks throughout the development and manufacturing process
  • Manage technical reviews and design for manufacturability with our customers and internal quality departments
  • Lead process improvement and Operational Excellence within the NPI quality team
  • Manage the timely completion of all quality projects
  • Assign and monitor projects to the quality team
  • Manage the projects to be within the quoted budget and to meet the on-time delivery goals
  • Train and develop engineers and create/utilize engineering standards
  • Provide employees with goals, performance initiatives, and areas of accountability that are directly aligned with the goals of Cretex companies
  • Hire, manage work hours, vacation requests, review performance, discipline, terminate, make compensation changes, and ensure compliance of personnel to corporate personnel policies.
  • Professional and timely communication with other departments and customers.
  • Review department expenditures, including compensation, expenses, maintenance, and equipment/software upgrades
  • Support and comply with the company Quality System, ISO, and medical device requirements

Qualifications NPI Quality Manager Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in an Engineering Science
  • 5 years of engineering experience in a manufacturing setting
  • 3+ year leadership experience
  • Medical instrumentation product knowledge
  • Manufacturing process knowledge
  • Knowledge of Quality System: ISO9001, ISO13845
  • Project management experience and/or certifications
  • Ability to solve problems and root cause analysis
  • Ability to consistently achieve short and long-term business results
  • Clear and effective verbal and written communication skills
