Wage: $18-$19/hour if night shift, +$1/hour shift differential Monday-Wednesday: 3:15 PM 3:45 AM; Thursday: 3:15 PM 7:15 PM; Overtime as needed.d NO BGC- DT Required JOB SUMMARY: As the Diamond Saw Operator 1, you ll be responsible for the setup and operation of the saws. WHAT YOU LL BE DOING: Loading and unloading saws with a crane Applying patterns and layout of stone to best utilize raw material Reading shop tickets to decipher work to be done Checking work for errors before and after cutting stone by comparing work to the production ticket Loading pre-programmed profiles from the network Leveling and squaring up the stone on the saw bed and indexing the saw to the stone Bracing/wedging stone as needed to prevent movement when cutting Reading a tape measure, imperial and metric Changing blades as needed Working as a team and cross-training in other areas as needed Performing 5S and Total Productive Maintenance duties Communicating with the Lead or Supervisor for work priority Scanning bar codes on production tickets to record work performed in the JDE system Understanding general and job-specific acceptance of stone quality and appearance criteria
