Job Description

Job Profile Summary

Use skills, experience and talent to help Key grow an effective information security program by analyzing, assessing, and helping mitigate security issues.

Applicant will perform and execute eDiscovery / Litigation Support plans and strategies to support and align with organizational initiatives and regulatory compliance. This includes working with inside and outside counsel, handling data collection, preservation, and analysis using eDiscovery and forensic tools.

Applicant must have a technical background across a wide range of security disciplines and solutions and must have excellent communication, presentation, writing, and customer interface skills.

Essential job Functions

Abilities:

  • Data collection, preservation, and analysis using industry standard eDiscovery and Forensic tool(s).

  • Document all steps taken during the litigation support processes.

  • Preparation of data for distribution to outside and/or inside counsel.

  • Collaborate with a wide variety IT personnel to identify system owners, then work with the identified system experts to understand the nature of the stored data and Key s systems.

Knowledge of:

  • eDiscovery / Litigation Support data collection, preservation and analysis.

  • Computer networking concepts and protocols, and network security methodologies.

  • Legal governance related to admissibility (e.g. Rules of Evidence).

  • System administration concepts for Windows operating system. Background in other operating systems is beneficial (e.g. Unix/Linux, iOS and, Android).

  • Processes for collecting, packaging, transporting, and storing electronic evidence while maintaining chain of custody.

  • Legal rules of evidence and court procedure.

  • Forensics / eDiscovery lab design configuration and support applications.

Skills:

  • Analyzing and preserving evidence integrity according to standard operating procedures or national standards.

  • Ability to work with and understand the data needs of in-house and outside counsel.

  • Testify, as required, to the eDiscovery processes that were followed.

Tasks:

  • Collect process, package, transport, and store electronic evidence to avoid alteration, loss, physical damage, or destruction of data.

  • Prepare regular reports on the status of ongoing eDiscovery requests

  • Create a forensically sound duplicate of the evidence (e.g. forensic image) that ensures the original evidence is not unintentionally modified.

  • Prepare digital media for imaging by ensuring data integrity (e.g. write blockers in accordance with standard operating procedures).

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor s degree or equivalent work experience.

  • Proven ability to identify and implement process improvement opportunities.

  • Results oriented, a team player, and self-starter with ability to work with general direction.

  • Ability to manage competing priorities.

  • Basic understanding of security threats and knowledge of financial industry.

  • Strong risk-based analysis and decision-making skills.

  • Professional security certification desired (CISSP, CISM, CISA, etc.).
